2025 programme From the neolithic to the medieval

IAG's 2025 programme of talks and walks takes us from Arran to Ingleborough via Settle's Folly and an exciting dig in Littondale. Put the dates in your diary to make sure you don't miss anything good!


TALKS

Talks (except January) are held at Ingleborough Community Centre, Ingleton, on Mondays at 7.30 and non-members are welcome - £3 entry. January's zoom talk is for members only and a link will be circulated before the meeting.

  • Boat trip on the Lancaster Canal from Crooklands


June 11 (Wednesday overnight)

  • Moon watch at Sleights Pasture Monument Complex with Yvonne Luke (may be night before or after depending on the weather)


June 26 (Thursday am)

  • Talk and guided tour of Ribchester Museum by the Curator Patrick Tostevin

    (with afternoon walk on local Roman Road t.b.c.)


July 28 (Monday)

  • Guided walk of prehistoric monuments in Swaledale with Yvonne Luke
